This update is a little late but better than never right!! My mother, MaeJae and I spent Mother's day with a very special lady.... my grandmother... We don't get to makethe trip too often because it's 2 hrs away but we do go as much as possible..
Being a mother is an undescribeable feeling.... God has blessed me with a wonderful husband who shows me an unconditional love.. Through our marriage God has given us an angel sent from above.. (our daughter).. Cole and MaeJae have never done anything or said anything to make me love them as much as I do and they never will.. There is no way for me to even try to explian the way I feel about these two beautiful babies...
We celebrated Mother's day a week early so Cole could be with us... The most precious gift of all was the tree he picked out for our family to plant together... He picked out a cherry tree.. What more of a precious gift could you ask for? To watch it grow and become a part of our family.

1 year, 52 weeks , 365 days
Where do I even start.... 1 whole year has already flewn past us...Where did it go? How do I even out into words how I feel today?
It just seems as we brought you home last week... Why oh Why does it have to go by so fast?
This past year you have brought us so much JOY, EXCITEMENT, TEARS, LAUGHTER all wrapped into one beautiful princess... So much more LIFE than we could ever experience.... There is not one person that you cross by that doesn't comment on how cute you are... Your chubby cheeks, big BROWN eyes with long eyelashes, big hair bows and that smile is to die for... I LOVE it how you try to act so shy when you meet a new person and burry your head into my chest... (If they only knew).... Your Dad is such a funny person and you, by far have him beat and you don't even know it... We spend most of our time laughing and playing.... Your vocabulary is beyond what is expected for a 1 year old.. It ranges from bye bye , one , momma, dada, gaba, gaba, dog, cat, uh-oh, ball, Cole, buba, dog, Wes, nonono, stop, awwe, ooooo, tickle-tickle, and so many more ...You can clap for buba during his ball games, when you drop your passy on accident (or on purpose) you say uh-oh, you go around the house barking like a dog, meowing like a cat, Hi fives are always a laugh... when we ask you how old you are you hold your finger up and say "ONE".. you can already catch a ball.. (lesson taught from daddy)..you can stand up holding on to something but you perfer to roll, crawl or dance your way around...you LOVE to hang upside down.. On our way home from ball games in the afternoon you love to sing in the back seat and sometimes when I look back I see the carseat shaking from you dancing..you don't like grass or itchy clothes (tu-tus) .... You are such a Mamas girl and I LOVE it.. Don't get me wrong you still are INLOVE with your daddy... and I do believe you will always be... This is something I hope you cherish forever...my sweet little darling, we can not thank God anymore than we aleady do for sending our precious Angel to us.. your Mama, Dada and Cole, (dooley and chuwee),Neno, Nanny Paula and Papee, Jason and Aunnie,Nana Kay, Pop Lee and Savanna, Pawpaw, Nanny Nikki and the kids LOVE you more than you will ever know... they are you bestfriends and will always be...

Future softball princess
I just thought I would let everyone know that I may just have a little softball player on my hands.. We were on our way home from Cole's baseball practice and I didn't even get 10 minutes down the road and I had a shoe thrown at me from the back seat.... Let me remind you that MaeJae still sits faceing the rear.... Some how she took her shoe off and threw it hard enough it hit the front windshield and scared me to death... And yes, of course Daddy was proud...
These two beautiful creations LOVE each other.. Their faces both light up when they get to see each other.. I believe MaeJae thinks Cole just might have hung the moon for her...

Little Leagu Pirates 2010
Ok.. So have you ever been so proud of your little one for sucking up all the fear running through his body and come out on top and accomplishing his goals? Well... I have..This past Tuesday night Cole made his debut on the pitching mound... He was so nervous.. I honestly don't know who was more nervous.. his 3 parents that were out in the stands on their toes at the fence and his dad standing in the dugout, or hiself. Cole did AWESOME.. I mean this kid seriously rocked and can you say STRIKEOUT???? He struckout every batter that stood at th ehime plate.. What you don't hear in the pic above is Cole grunting so loud we can hear it in the stands..
This picture is Cole's daddy giving him a few last words before he throws his first pitch...
after the first STRIKE!
Cole crump.... I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK... I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!

Road Trip
Today MaeJae and I went to go see my grandmother(Neno) in Hiawasee. MaeJae and Coles Great Grandmother... Now that MaeJae is older she doesn't sleep as much so, I was afraid she would get bored on the way. Believe it or not.. She slept the whole way there..She was a perfect angel. (just like always). On the way home it was a different story... (getting lost in Resaca, time to eat, and a poopie diaper).. Oh the joys of motherhood.
There are not enough words in the dictionary and even different languages added together to describe how I feel about this lady.. This lady ,excuse me, WOMAN has raised me, showed me the greatest amount of love possible ,lived the truth and trusted the Lord with all her heart... sniff, sniff... she gave her best at everything she did..If you told her she was too small and she wasn't strong enough to do something, she would prove you wrong.(( I wonder where I get that from? Sorry Wes, You can blame it on Neno)) This lady did not have to raise me or my mother or my Uncle, or my baby cousin...But, She did.. She put all selfishness aside and put everyone in front of herself.. She adopted my mother and Uncle Dooley when they were little and raised them.. In my opinion she kept rasing my mom..(j/k.. this lady is so full of life even @ 82)..She worked 2-3 jobs just to make ends meet and still made time for her family and made sure they knew she loved them dearly.... This lady is an angle sent from Heaven.
Just this past December my family made the hard decision to put her in a nursing home where she could get the one on one attention she needed. This was a huge step for us. We all wanted to take care of her but couldn't give her the one on one attention she needs. I truely believe you mad the right decision Aunt Nene.. She is so happy. This is the old Neno I want to remember forever..The loving, unselfish, beautiful, dancing Neno that means the world to me...
When MaeJae and I walked into the nursing home and saw her in the cafeteria it was the best feeling in the world. She looked at me and she knew that I was there for her but she couldn't remember who I was.. But thats ok, I still made her smile just like always.. I LOVE watching her smile. MaeJae loved her. Of course Neno kept trying to make her laugh and it doesn't take much to make her laugh..I can't explain the feeling I felt watching 2 of the most important people in my life interact with each other. We had a great time catching up with Aunt Nene and Uncle Grady.
MaeJae LOVED Uncle Grady.. He carried her all over the place!
