MaeJae's 1st Field Trip

Today was MaeJae's first field trip to Burt's Pumpkin Patch in Adairsville.

We had a blast. She played with all the animals,(even told the keeper that she already knew how to hold a bunny because she has on), rode play horses, hay ride and I also was able to mingle with the parents and put and adult face to each one of the kids. Needless to say we both came home filthy and exhausted! Here are a few pics from our fun filled day. Please excuse the quality because they are from my phone.

MaeJae turns 2!

                                             My sweet precious angel turns 2 today!!

 What- 2??? Really? Yes really!  Today was her actual birthday and we celebrated with her favorite people EVER! Her brother, grandparents, aunts, and the Micah family!  Such a blessing to have so many people we love dearly all under one roof celebrating the birth of my baby girl.. I couldn't of been any happier. :) Here are some pice from our first celebration!

Cole Train turns 9 !!!

Today our sweet Cole turns NINE.. N.I.N.E!! Can you believe it?? I can't ! Nine years ago today  I was a sophomore in High School wishing for the day to hurry and let out so I could get to go to soccer practice.. Needless to say, It never crossed my mind I would have a Red Headed, Freckle faced, Athletic little man !! And I am SOOO truly thankful and in LOVE with every bit of time I get to spend with him.. I LOVE him to the moon and back ..and  as if he were my own.. OK.. so  enough of the mushy mushy stuff.. Here's how we celebrated!!

 Friday we took Cole to City Wings for dinner..  Saturday we went to Pawpaw's house and celebrated!! Monday we took Cole and his best friend , Micah to the Hawks game.. These kids had a blast.. It was also Micah's birthday!

                   The guard kept telling him that he needed to go and he kept saying" just one more minute" .. It made Daddy's and the boy's night!!

The day of Cole's birthday we went to U.S. Play and also invited Micah to celebrate...

The cake is ONLY pink because he LOVES strawberry on strawberry... Just look at how cute he is!! He is going to be such a heart breaker!

Merry Christmas

Today Cole, MaeJae and I went to church for the Christmas celebration..... Best church trip EVER!! MaeJae went to the nursery crying at first and about 10 mins. later she calmed down and stayed the entire time.. YAY!!! Cole came to big church with me... It was the best Christmas performance I have ever seen!! I had chills the whole time!! On a special note.. Cole was clapping, singing, and lifting his arms in praise with me!! How  PRECIOUS is that?? It made my heart melt!!  I know he doesn't thoroughly understand what he was doing but  I enjoyed EVERY bit of it.. The Woodland High School drum line was there and he LOVED it!!  I LOVE every special minute I get to spend with him!!

Football games and Birthday Parties...

This weekend was so much fun but very tiring.. Cole's football team  got to play on the High School field and they had a blast !! We played the 1st place team but sadly lost only by 3 points... Cole was even able to tryout his new snap that our SUPER nice friend, Levi Cagle tought him... 

What a Stud and PURE athelete... and yes, I am going to throw it in there about how proud I am of him...

Slap in the face

　Today is a day I don’t think I will ever forget….
After a long day (3 ½ hrs ) @ the Golf Pro Store … We decided to stop @ the local Red Box to get a movie and watch as a family before we went to bed… little did we know a reality check was in store for us…
God works in mysterious ways….


Wes got out of the car to return a movie we had previously rented and there was a homeless man sitting there… on the concrete.. With two signs that read “ will work for cash…. And another one that read “ homeless” …. my heart broke … sitting there in front of this man , in my nice AC SUV and my beautiful babies in the back… my eyeballs just started flooding…
My mind was racing… what can I do to help this poor man??? I have to do something…and keep my kids safe!!
When Wes was through with the Red Box he came to my window and asked if we had any extra cash… I gave him what we had with no questions asked…
He came out of the store with bags full of food and drinks for this man….. I don’t know if Wes felt the amount of concern I had on my face for this man or if he felt the same…
While we were sitting there in my car waiting on my husband, still  at the Red Box another man came out and sat down beside the homeless man and gave him a sandwich.. … Wes overheard the conversation.. The man that sat down beside him claimed to be homeless as well living in the woods and was praying that it wouldn’t rain tonight…
Any day that could be anyone of us…..

I am truly thankful for my babies, my life, my family, and my God……
