Our First Family Trip to the beach.

We  took our first family trip to the beach this past Labor Day weekend. Not to mention, it was also Daddy's (Wes') 29th birthday. The last one before the big 30. He said this will be the last birthday he will be having . Ha Ha... Don't we all wish that, right. I had everything for the kids packed on Wednesday afternnon. I was ready to go. I have been wanting to go to the beach for the past 2 years and we really just did not have the money to go. Wes' work has been picking up for the past 4 months and we were able to save a few here and there. We have never taken Cole to the beach before and this was something we have been wanting to do for a long time. Our cousins Kelli and John said they would go to and split a room with us. We had a blast. The kids LOVED being together and they also kept us sooo entertained. We were really dreading the drive to St. Simon Island. This was the first time that Marley had been in the car for 6 1/2 hours. She was an ANGEL. Or lets just say , we had a lot of angels over us that day. She only woke up one time on the way down the to eat and to stop and get Cole a pillow. Yes, I forgot to pack his pillow. We didn't get to leave until Saturday because I had to work that morning. We arrived around 6:30 and I couldn't have been any happier to be at the beach. I LOVE the beach. I didn't get to go much as a kid. So when I do, It's like I am a kid again getting this hugh surprise. On Sunday, we had planned on going down to the beach for a little while. I was really dreading it because I didn't know how MaeJae was going to take the sand and the ocean. We weren't even at the beach for 10 min. and she start crying histarically and wouldn't stop. Her belly was hurting so bad. I don't know if I have mentioned this before but MaeJae has really bad problems with going number 2. She has been since I stopped breastfeeding. She now takes applejuice one a day to make her go.  Everyone stayed down at the beach and I took MaeJae up to the room to see if I could get her to calm down.  Cole had a blast at the beach.

They burried each other.

Daddy even had fun too!

MaeJae and I  both fell asleep and 3 hours later the boys came back up to get ready to go find Cole some crab legs. We drove around for an hour and couldn't find any.  We finally found this place called Crab Daddys  and they didn't open until  5 pm.  So Wes and Coel dropped MaeJae and I off at the room and they went to play put put. Cole LOVES put put and  is a pro at it too.

Did I mention how MaeJae loves her brother. If no one can make her happy, he can. She loves to look at him when he is in the back seat with her. She loves him so much she wanted to pull his hair. This is the first time she has done this and i'm sure it will not be her last.

MaeJae had a blast with Abi and Molli. Everytime they would look at her she would just bust out laughing. It was priceless....
