Happy Birthday Jesus...

We started the Christmas season off with Coles Christmas play @ CPS... He was the cutest little elf I've ever seen...  He also had a christmas breakfast party where we had pancakes, sausage and fruit.Yummm... After the breakfast the class split up into 7 groups to do ornaments for the parents... about 5 mins into the ornaments Daddy walked in... it was a big surprised  for Cole and me because we were not expecting him... Daddy works all the time and usually can't get off work... I must say were two happy people...

This month is always so much fun....

Merry Christmas from the Crumps.

7 Months

I am a little late on doing the past few months but when do we ever slow down???
MaeJae has changed so much in the past few months. Happy but Sad all in one! MaeJae has to have the floor at all times.. The word that describes her the most is nosy... She will do what ever she can to look @ you.. Wes calls her an owl b/c she can turn her neck almost all they way around.. Shes PERFECT what else can we say..This girl is spoiled rotten.. Staying with Aunt Cortney 5 days a week has its benefits... I know my sweet little angel will be rotten to the core but I know that she is in the best care possible sine I can not be here. MaeJae LOVES her mouth and LOVES to put EVERYTHING in her mouth.. Hands.. feet ( no more toe painting :-( ... remote controls.. phones.. etc.. She still loves her swing and her brother... There is no way for me to describe the way she feels about her brother.... She can be in the worst mood and all he has to do is walk by her and her face just lights up the world... I hope they Stay close as they get older.. MaeJae still has not been sick... She has only had a cold for about a week and it quickly went away.. Still no fever and no antibiotics...YAY!!! She does get her monthly adjustments from our
Chiropractors... She still sleeps in her own bed. She goes to sleep between 8-9 and wakes up 6-8..and she sleeps like an angel... She is now baby foods as well as her bottle.. Bananas are her favorite!!  We LOVE this girl to the moon and back!

Halloween, Thanksgiving all in one!

The past  few months have been extremly busy. A little more than usual.. To wrap everything up into one blog would be a little bit time consuming and that I don't have a lot of these days.... So, I am going to shorten it a little... We finished Fall ball with a wonderful first season for the Wild Things..The Gators went undefeated and lost their first game in the SEC championship against Alabama...Lord you should have seen all the GA fans jumping on that Bama bandwagon....A little humerous I should say... Tim Tebow cried and let me tell you, He could cry on my shoulder anyday!

Halloween

This Halloween was quite delightful... Cole dressed up as a SWAT guy and MaeJae was a Chunky Monkey ( and when I say Chunky I mean CHUNKY) but she was adoreable.. It was such much fun having both the kids together. We started out going to Tonsmires studio to have pics made and then to the church for the Fall Festival and back home for Pawpaw to come over and eat dinner with us ..

Cole and MaeJae @ the fall festival

We carved Pumpkin @ Nana Kays and Pop Lees ... and Yes, this is MaeJae inside a pumpkin!

Coles master piece!!!

and later took a bath in the sink for the first time..

Thanksgiving..

We have SOOO much to be Thankful for this year.. God has given us 2 of the most precious children we could ask for.. Our families who stand by us in any time of need and who LOVE us more than ever...and most of all GOD!! What else more could you ask for??? Happy Thanksgiving..

Can we say teefies and "Dada"?

Yes ... the title says it all..... My sweet little girl has offically named her first word "Dada"... and Wes did have something to do with this.. He claims he didn't but everytime I walk out the room he says to MaeJae "say dada"... He thinks I never heard it... Wes was the happiest man I have ever seen and believe me... he rubbed it in as hard as he could...Nice huh? Seeing the smile on his face everytime was worth all the rubbing in he did.. On the same night we discovered that MaeJae tooth finally broke through... Can you say one happy but crying mama.... I NEVER want her to grow up but I guess its all reality right... Time to wake up and smell the coffee Ash!!

Our First Family Trip to the beach.

We  took our first family trip to the beach this past Labor Day weekend. Not to mention, it was also Daddy's (Wes') 29th birthday. The last one before the big 30. He said this will be the last birthday he will be having . Ha Ha... Don't we all wish that, right. I had everything for the kids packed on Wednesday afternnon. I was ready to go. I have been wanting to go to the beach for the past 2 years and we really just did not have the money to go. Wes' work has been picking up for the past 4 months and we were able to save a few here and there. We have never taken Cole to the beach before and this was something we have been wanting to do for a long time. Our cousins Kelli and John said they would go to and split a room with us. We had a blast. The kids LOVED being together and they also kept us sooo entertained. We were really dreading the drive to St. Simon Island. This was the first time that Marley had been in the car for 6 1/2 hours. She was an ANGEL. Or lets just say , we had a lot of angels over us that day. She only woke up one time on the way down the to eat and to stop and get Cole a pillow. Yes, I forgot to pack his pillow. We didn't get to leave until Saturday because I had to work that morning. We arrived around 6:30 and I couldn't have been any happier to be at the beach. I LOVE the beach. I didn't get to go much as a kid. So when I do, It's like I am a kid again getting this hugh surprise. On Sunday, we had planned on going down to the beach for a little while. I was really dreading it because I didn't know how MaeJae was going to take the sand and the ocean. We weren't even at the beach for 10 min. and she start crying histarically and wouldn't stop. Her belly was hurting so bad. I don't know if I have mentioned this before but MaeJae has really bad problems with going number 2. She has been since I stopped breastfeeding. She now takes applejuice one a day to make her go.  Everyone stayed down at the beach and I took MaeJae up to the room to see if I could get her to calm down.  Cole had a blast at the beach.

They burried each other.

Daddy even had fun too!

MaeJae and I  both fell asleep and 3 hours later the boys came back up to get ready to go find Cole some crab legs. We drove around for an hour and couldn't find any.  We finally found this place called Crab Daddys  and they didn't open until  5 pm.  So Wes and Coel dropped MaeJae and I off at the room and they went to play put put. Cole LOVES put put and  is a pro at it too.

Did I mention how MaeJae loves her brother. If no one can make her happy, he can. She loves to look at him when he is in the back seat with her. She loves him so much she wanted to pull his hair. This is the first time she has done this and i'm sure it will not be her last.

MaeJae had a blast with Abi and Molli. Everytime they would look at her she would just bust out laughing. It was priceless....

2 New Milestone and 3 Months Old !

Three months already, Yes I said Three. Can you believe it? My sweet little girl who only weighed 5lbs.13oz when she was a day old now weighs close to 13lbs and is actually getting a little taller. Today has been a new milestone for my little one. I have been debating on putting her in her own crib for the past couple of weeks now. Its not her, Its Mommy and Daddy getting up enough courage to put her in there by herself. Tonight will be the night that we try this out. Wish us luck. The way that MaeJae is growing and changing she will be changing her own diapers , making her own bottles, and giving herself a bath before we know it. I just wish I could record every minute of her life right now. Today my sweet little angel made me act like a little kid today. I mean seriously. I had MaeJae lying in her bed taking pictures of her. I seriously do this every weekend. She LOVES lying on her back looking at and listening to her mobile. This time I had her on her belly and she was holding her head up high. Such a strong girl. I bent down to get her alpha blocks to take some more pictures and the next thing I knew she was lying on her back. It took me a second to realize " Wait, I had her on her belly. SHE ROLLED OVER!" OMG!!! I jumped up and down like a little child getting a huge prize.  I picked her up and she smiled the biggest smile EVER! All gums and no teeth. So Precious! It was like she new she made Mommy so happy. I put her down and ran around the house with tears in my eyes looking for my phone to call Daddy and tell him. I seriously looked for like 3 minutes and it was actually in my hand the whole time. She is growing up so fast. She loves her swing, she actually laughs outloud when you kiss under her two chins and she can find you in the room when she hears your voice .  Her feet are so tickelish. She still stays with her Aunt Cortney during the day and MaeJae Loves her. But there is no other than her daddy. I thinks she loves him the most. She always has her eye on him. I am lucky to of had my video camera charged up to video tape it.

This weekend Cole had his first sleep over at his friends house. Can you believe it? Seven years old already and almost all grown up. I can't believe! He went to the Cartersville and Cass High School football  game Friday night with his friend Harry and then went home to spend the night with him. And yes of course, I didn't want him to go. I wanted to spend my time with him. Selfish...Guilty!  but seeing his face on Saturday morning was all worth it and hearing all about it. He had a blast! He came running in my office grinning from ear to ear with Harry  and his mom right behind him and smelt like staright up Waffle House. I am so proud of him for staying all night and not wanting to come home. He was so happy he got to spend the night.  Life just goes by so fast. Cherish every minute of it and tell your kids and you husband how much you LOVE them every day. Even though when they get older they don't want to hear it. When they are adults, they will cherish every minute of it. I do....... Next thing you  know they will be walking across that stage with their diploma in their hand and walking down that isle with that special man that reminds her of her Daddy!
