A Miracle has happened at Kennestone Hospita!

Well, where should I start? All so much has happened in the past couple of months , Easter, baseball, graduation, and not to mention a miracle by God has been made.

On Sunday, May 17th Wes decided we should go to the hospital to get checked out because I had been up all night sick vomiting. I was so weak and tired I didn't even put up a fight. We met Nickie and Jesse at Waffle House and dropped Cole off. Wes didn't want Cole to have to go to the Hospital and be bored all day and be all around sick people. It was a smart thing too. We signed in at the Emergency room at Kennestone Hospital thinking they were going to just give me fluids and send me home but , that wasn't Gods plan for us that day. I was too far along to be treated in the emergency room so they called a wheel chair over and sent me to the labor and delivery unit to admit me. After check in, I was put in a room with my husband and they hooked up a moniter to my belly to check Marleys heart rate. From this point on I have never been so scared in my life. After the mid-wife heard it she didn't have a good look on her face. She just came out and said in this english accent" your going to have a baby today, csection or vaginal shes coming." She told us that this is was not looking good. Not even 2 minutes later she broke my water and hooked and IV up and put a monitor on the MaeJaes head to monitor the heart rate. I was so scared and shaking I din't know wheather to cry or what. I looked over at my husband wanting to tell him I Love Him and that everything was going to be alright but nothing would come out. I could see the fear in his eyes but I knew he was trying so hard to be so strong for us both. I was transferd to another room down the hall and this was the room that I was going to have my beautiful baby girl in.

After getting setteled in the new room, I was only dialated to 1.5cm. They started me on potossiun and MaeJae didn't like it. Her heart rate dropped immediately. So off the potossin I went. The nurse said this was going to be a long day. In went cathater 1,2, and 3. All three for different things. At about 5 cm i told the nurse I wanted to have my epideral. I had been debating all day if I was going to have one. I was so scared and terrified of that needle going in my spine but my husband was standing right there beside me holding my hand through it all ment the world to me. I know that I am so lucky to have this man.

At about 7 o'clock the nurse came in and asked if all the people in the waiting room were all here for me. Wes told her yes. There were almost 30 people in the waiting all here to see Miss MaeJae. They didn't know they would be there a long time.Around 9 o'clock here came Cole Crump, wide open. I was so excited to see him. I think he was more excited to see the whole family together than anything.

At about 2 AM my amazing midwife came in and said I was ready to push. Wes jumped up off his little cot he was sleeping on and ran and got one of my bestfriends, Ashley Mitchell , she was our photographer through out the whole day. I mean the whole day. A few good pushes and with my husband by my side ready to cut the umbilical cord, a MIRACLE was born. Miss Marley Jae Crump was born May 18, 2009 at 2:23 AM. Thank you Jesus for giving me an amazing Husband, Son and Daughter. I will be forever grateful!

6 & Under Hawks Are Undefeated!!!

Today we had the best game of the year! Everyone played their hardest they have played all year. I have not seen my husband so excited in a long time. Coaching Coles sports to him
is like peanutbutter and jelly going together , strawberries on top of strawberry shortcake or even the cherry on top of a sunday. He absolutley LOVES it. Seeing him so happy to be out on that basketball court with his son makes me realize what life is all about. Its being happy with the ones you LOVE and spending time being a role model to the ones who look up to you. There are children in this world who don't have anyone to look up to and to see my husband out there doing what he does best (besides plumbing) makes me the happiest wife and step mom in the entire world.

Dear Wes,

It is a true blessing to be your wife. I LOVE every minute of it. I mean EVERY minute. I can't get enough of the love that you give me. I followed the road that God left for me, you and our love for each other is what I found. Our faith and trust in each other can climbed mountains. I LOVE sharing every minute of my life with you and Cole. In just a couple of months we will have ourself a little Marley Crump and our family will be just a wee little bit bigger and a whole lot more LOVE.

Holy Cow I Pregnant!

Ok, My friend Ashely has been agging at me to start this blog for about 5 months now and I guess its about time. Here I am 21 weeks pregnant and just starting to show. But I have to say I kind of like it. I don't like all the attention though. That I could deal without.

Well lets see where can I start. This beautiful little girl that I have in my little round belly is my miracle baby. I have had 2 miscarriages in the past year and I have finally made it past the 3 month mark. Something I never thought I would pass. Everytime I think about it I start to tear up because it really shows that I am suppose to be a MOMMY! After the second miscarriage I was done trying. I just gave up and said that its just not ment to be. Three weeks later I was late for my, ya know, "monthly" thing. I just happen to have a pregnancy test laying around and decided to take it knowing it would be false. I hopped in the bathtub not think anything about it.
When I got out I looked at I couldn't believe my eyes. I went and showed my husband and we just looked at each other. I think he was in more shock than I was. I was not ready to be pregnant again and have my heart broken for the third time. But GOD was. He believed in me and knew that I was strong enough to go through it one more time. Everytime we went to the doctor I just knew that I was leaving the office with bad news. I was so terrified that the same thing was going to happen. I know that I am being pessimistic but, being let down so many times I couldn't help but think any other way. My husband has been the back bone through this all. He has not been anything but positive the whole time. What A MAN! I have not been excited until these past few weeks. When we found out that we were going to have a beautiful baby girl I don't think I could of been any more excited!
